Straightening out pay mess!

I am an H route I took a full week off which entitles me to two Free Saturdays. We have a new postmaster new to the office and new to being a postmaster. He put me in for some reason one day military leave without pay which caused me not to see pay for that day and to lose my free Saturday not only for this pay but I'm sure for next pay. He admits to messing up and wants to do an adjustment 1 day annual leave. I am concerned it will just charge me another days leave instead of giving me the free Saturday and pay. Anybody ran into thos before?

When your PM does the adjustment, make sure he changes the military code to your annual. It will not affect your free Saturday. It gets credited automatically. The pay adjustment forms are filled out manually by management.

Actually, the 2240-R is now an online form So no need to manually fill out.
