"Beginning early next year, UPS will add new Sunday pick-up and delivery options. That will bring its delivery operations to seven days a week."
"It's also seeking a certification from the Federal Aviation Administration for a new subsidiary called "UPS Flight Forward" for its drone operations. A certification would allow it to have FAA-approved flight operations "beyond line of sight, at night, and with an unlimited number of drones and operators in command."

So....Amazon is starting to deliver their own, FEDEX is upping their game,and now UPS is going to do drones? Did the USPS end some secret sweetheart deals, or will RRECS make some kind of a difference? Hmmmm.......l
So, instead of as Amazon Sunday it will be UPS Sunday. Will we get a better kickback, I mean deal, than was negotiated with Amazon? Will it be transparent, or just stink to high heaven too?

No Sunday mail here except Machine Express.
An off topic Sunday thing here pertaining to the International Express Mail and ours. They have been running these International Express items along with ours on SUNDAY. They have also started running these International Express on a daily basis which arrive on the "Late Truck".

In Podunk nowhere who are just close enough for Amazon to drop pallets monday through Saturday but don't do Sunday as a hub/ Pime Sundays....what will Monday bring with the extra ups?

Loved the video, great music flashy new things, packages zipping along and nary a problem.....Now walk into the rear of any post office... Ben Franklin would still be comfortable there... He'd recognize the sorting cases. He'd probably recognize the hampers. He'd know what the carriers were doing... The same thing when he started the post office... Carriers are running around, busting their butts just trying to get the mixed up late deliveries out the door. And now Miss know it all just takes on Sunday stuff for ups... probably at a loss... did she even ask if we have the capability to do this with the staff in place... did she try to correlate the messages she has gotten over the dismal retention rate of over worked, abused part timers?..Is she going to transfer 90 % of the back room staffs at all levels to post offices to do Sunday deliveries?...Do she and her underlings even have a clue as to what is really going on in the day to day operations?...We know the answer..
Is that a Daffy Duck shadow figure she's making with her hand and scanner?

Agree. These jackasses in charge dont give a shit because they're not the ones who have to deliver it so they continue to make dumbass decisions as this one.
I'm either getting out of here or seriously will pull my religious card.
Carriers need to Express their voices on these trash decisions. Need to say no more to Sunday deliveries without any benefit to doing so.
