The future of Aux Carriers?

Aux carriers have no benefit of working aux route anymore once the RCAs start earning PTO. Yes they get sick leave, but still it isn't worth the extra hassle if they are forced to go elsewhere. No one knows yet. Personally I miss my aux route, but the inept people failed to protect me. The aux route was perfect for me with my 2nd job, but the stress and BS of old office and no protection let me down.
exactly why I was waiting for aux until this contract. Plus side it has a gov vehicle so I wouldn’t have the worry of a POV. Add in I do work a full time job outside the PO. Having every Sunday and holiday off would have been great for work life balance. getting Closer and closer to the time I will have house paid off and all renovation Loans paid off. Looking at 18 months for those and when that’s done I need to make a choice. USPS or my other job I can’t use financial reasons to keep putting off a work/life balance. Looking at now 3+ years before career at current office. Reg who was out for 1 year and 3 months is coming back next week.

On what legal grounds would they take from one employee and give to another? Is that in the contract?
it would be on the same grounds as a rebuild when DPS went into effect.

aux routes are made from carving off regular routes. they are usually restored to the route which lost that territory in the first place.

i am sure there are citations but as i am readying supper, i am not going to look them up right this second.

the aux RCA will still have employment as a RCA.

Yeah, well, I'm looking to protect myself before this happens.

Forgive me here about rebuilds from AUX runs.

Isn't the current wording... you are entitled to a rebuild of territory which was part of route from AUX run?

What if your run gained all territory from AUX when DPS/GOV ride happened before RRECS? While there is still a pesky AUX after RRECS?
