Time card

Gettingit

New member
Hello..I'm a new RCA and I was wondering if its OK for someone else to document my time on my green card?  I noticed someone put my time in 5 minutes past the time I was told to be there, which I walked in at the time I was told to be there not 5 minutes later...I was told by the PM not to show up earlier then my scheduled time.  How should I approach this?  I think its one of the senior RCA's who was not my trainer.  She has been full of drama and rather unpleasant towards me accusing me of getting special attention because I knew the senior RCA in the PO.  But, I only knew her as a customer years ago.  I don't have her # nor have I spoken to her in over 10 years prior to starting the job.  I don't want to start trouble, but I'm not happy with this RCA and the way she is acting towards me, nor do I appreciate her documenting false time on my timecard.  Is that even OK for her to do?  Thanks in advance!

unfortunately  rca's sometimes are not nice to new hires because you are going to take work off of them so they try to sabotage you so you quit.   bring this up to pm that someone(don't name names)put the wrong time on the green card and ask him who else is allowed to write on the time card be sides him.  when he says no one, advise that someone did and that you would like it corrected.  next time you see this, approach mgnt asap.   if he says pm and super ask then why did they sign you in late.   you better get a strong backbone if you have an rca like that working with you.   good luck

My office still has the old punch time card machine along with the new swipe machine.

I suggest you keep your green card with you. When you start give manager or whoever is documenting your time, have them record the start time in ink and initial it. When done present card again and same process as start time.

When card is submitted for payroll, make a photo copy of it, round date it and have manager initial it. Keep the copy to make sure you were paid correctly. Slippery fingers on a computer have been know to enter incorrect times.
