UBBM is now supposed to be counted!

One day left and now the uppers in a meeting have told our supervisor that UBBM is supposed to be counted.
I kept track of mine and added it to the sheet anyway. But no one else kept track, so it is going to be an interesting day tomorrow.
This whole thing is a giant mess! Smh.....

The UBBM from DPS was ALWAYS supposed to have been counted. What's going to be "interesting" is when the carriers who's UBBM was NOT counted prevail overwhelmingly in their DPS Quantity Reviews that they will be requesting on March 25th. That'll learn 'em !!

I put mine down every day too. Luckily for me, I just wrote down my letter count down and handed it to a supervisor.
I feel for everyone out there that has to fight for every raw letter with someone hanging over their shoulder.

I doubt it. Carriers were told that if they disagreed with any count, timing, or measurement, they needed to document the dispute & bring it to mgmt. If Carriers didn’t bother with that then that’s on them.
Mgmt’s still claiming Hold Mail isn’t counted that’s pulled from the DPS but I just add mine to the 3M count & handle it tomorrow.

Any undeliverable DPS or DPS rejects should have always been counted. If you count for yourself, dont make 27 different categories. My supervisor has no idea how many FWDS, UAAs, Holds, UBBM etc. that i have. He only gets 3 numbers... Letters, flats, and inverted. Thats it. I add to those columns what is supposed to be added. You would be surprised how many disputes this avoids.

I did the same. Carriers in my office kept trying to make this harder than it was supposed to be. They’d separate & then count the categories.
I just piled the DPS pulls from my curbs in the AM & carried them to route; adding to the pile at each CBU stop. Then I Countd every piece before separating at my case. The hardest part is trying to remember to count the Inverteds.

Peeps have been making noise about it from day ONE, and here we are on the LAST day of the count, and now we hear something.... probably won't be ANY diff at my office, nor MOST offices today.... that's what I mean, they're WORTHLESS.... seems clear to me....

Do you really believe any PO's will be making a big deal to tell everybody that we're now gonna count UBBM on this LAST day of the count???? Lol.... yeah, me neither....
