USPS HAS CHEATED MAIL CARRIERS FOR YEARS

Office of Inspector General claims "You are using too much overtime. There's no mail. Everyone should be done with a route with time to spare." Manager deletes any hours that would be classified as overtime to stay under the upper management radar. Manager eventually gets caught, says "My bad." Office of Inspector General sends them to "training" and promises that they won't do it again. Wink! Wink! It is a vicious circle with a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Is this a two part series? One quote from a rural carrier, but nothing about delivering Amazon with no compensation? I’m sure that was a reoccurring theme when she interviewed us.
I'm thankful she brought some light on the ripoff, but not much about rural carriers. No mention our union would not speak to her, etc.
From reading the comments below the article, the public thinks we're crybabies and are grossly overpaid. Let's see what they think when they're shit doesn't get delivered, when there's only a few rural carriers left per office.

I also told her about the shi^&y part of the contract where we do not get paid for going up driveways, good job Ron or whichever union person negotiated that for us !! I hope whoever you are, is at least getting a kickback on that one !

when i started, we weren't paid to take parcels to the door or gas for that matter... then about decades ago the union got us another 10 seconds per, and were so excited, they for got to ask about gas money...

Seems like we are headed in that direction again. Backward, except if it keeps rolling back I don't believe too many will be left to deliver. Remember the old saying if you don't like your job go work at Mcdonald's if I could foresee the future I would have been all over that. 😂

I think this article has a lot to teach us.

It also shows some difficulties the Rural Craft has in presenting a case.
The City Carriers are able to state their case in simple easy to understand terms. We can't, this makes our situation difficult to fight from

Thought there was going to be part 1 and part 2 this being part one. i could be miss remembering sort of like being asked about scans a week after the fact. I don’t remember then watch management get annoyed 😂.
