I tried to explain the concept of how GPS works to someone from district, once, in relation to SPM's; and how even real-time GPS tracking will have an average of about a 60ish meter travel delay.

They gave a look like I killed their puppy. Or their PFP.

They probably care more about their PFP.

This in part is why they are so hot and heavy about taking DPS to the street. Street time is increased when DPS is taken to the street which allows GPS to catch up with the Vehicle due to more time stopped at each mailbox.

I call that look the " ice cream or yogurt" look. You know......... that cross eyed , confused, dumbfounded, clueless look because what you are explaining to them is just so far out of their ability to comprehend. They give the same look when the bag boy asks them " paper or plastic ?"
