Vacant Route Bidding

I am a regular and I would like to get off the route that I am presently on. There will be a vacant route soon because of a carrier retiring.

One of the more senior carriers than I will most likely bid on this route. In that event their route will become vacant.

So my question is: since it doesn't matter to me which route I get as long as I am able to get off my route, shouldn't I bid "ALL" as I did when I was an RCA in order to get a different route?

That's my thinking so correct me if I am wrong.

You are correct. Bid all will get you off your route and the next sub in line that bids correctly will be stuck with yours.
