Weekly eval: paycheck hours: aux route

Does anyone know if weekly hours are MANUALLY typed in or if it is automatically calculated? Here's the thing:

My aux route is 5.92 hours a day. I've been noticing on my paycheck when I ONLY work my aux route AND am under evaluation for the week, sometimes I get paid 36.00 hours sometimes 35.00 and sometimes 34.00 hours. I've noticed this since the count went into effect.

I've seen the person in my RMPO office entering my time into RWHT (i think it's called). BUT this all has to be approved by someone in the APO. Why does it change?

WHY is it always a FLAT hour amount. 5.92 x 6 = 35.52...anyone PLZ give me some insight!

THANKS!

If you are an RCA they are imputing your actual hours worked. If you were on salary, you would basically have the same check rack pay period. It varies because of your actual work.

If your working under 40 hrs, you should be getting the eval for the aux route. I would contact your ADR/DR about it. It sounds as if they are entering your hours as if you are hourly (green card) instead of evaluation (4240).

Although, Saturday starts Christmas OT and aux routes go to hourly for the 3-wk period.

So when Christmas OT starts and Aux routes go hourly, should one slow down because you don't want to come in before the evaluated time?????

Say the route is eval time is 5 hrs/day x 6 days = 30 hours total eval time but if you ran the route 6 days and the total actual hours is say 26 hrs, which would you get paid since you are now on hourly....???? 30 hours or 26 hours?

OK, so when you get back from running your Aux route and they ask/tell you to go back out to assist or run packages. Is that paid hourly plus mileage or the 2 min. per mile on green card for the next 3 weeks?

Hourly plus mileage.

Remember, auxie and regular carriers are hourly employees for the next 3 weeks.  RCAs running full regular routes will be paid eval.  RCAs doing parcel assist will be paid hourly plus mileage on a green card, just like any other time of the year.

rca4ever, your route evals out at 35.52, no?  Well, something like that...don't have time to go look up the actual eval.  Let's just say it evals out at 35 hours a week.

That's what you should be paid.  Can't remember if auxie carriers show eval and actual hours like regulars do.

For example, if a regular has a 40K and goes 2 hours over for the week, their paystub for week 1 will show both the eval and actual hours, but the regular gets paid the evaluation.

Is that any clearer?
