What is the policy for splitting routes up when there is another rca to run the route

Yes. Because your PM has set the precedence that subs can refuse to work. Lol. It’s past practices. If he’s letting your other sub pick and chose when they want to work, then you should be allowed. I bet your PM will start disciplining that sub for being unavailable now. That’s disparate treatment.
So last time I said exactly that, if they can refuse, then I can refuse? Pm said no, because he isn't calling the sub.

Sprocket et al -- "REMEMBER:

According to my nut case PM Friday 12/13/2019, these are the rules:

"That is none of your business who I have working.

I can schedule anyone I want, anytime I want and anywhere I want. I DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW THE MATRIX OR GO BY SENIORITY!

I'm sick of you and have had enough. I'm writing you up for insubordination."

-- Way past time to get the Assistant District Representative involved!!

-- When the sub(s) start ruling the roost, they probably "know where the bodies are buried", and may have put one or two in there themselves. Certainly have "something" on the PM or is / are the PM's "pet" or both.

What's a designation 74? That's another term I've yet to hear.

If your PM is simply trying to give a sub a much needed day off, good for them.

Des 74 is an RCA serving on a vacant route for more then 90 days and is in leave earning status. The route either does not have a regular assigned or the regular is out for an extended period of time.

But your PM said they let him chose when to work so do the same lol. If he’s letting carrier A chose his schedule and what routes he gets to run, then carrier B should get the same treatment.

that is the opposite of what is happening. 3 of us subs work everyday with no days off. One sub doesn't like to work, so pm won't call him on certain routes. we all want days off but only 1 person gets days off.

After getting a handful of 5 day weeks this year, I'm back on 6 and 7 day weeks, so I totally get it. I'd be annoyed if management played favorites as well. However, we don't even have one person getting weekdays off now. I bitched enough to finally get today off, but even that's not a guarantee. Hard time to be a sub.
