first choice would be auxiliary route. then maybe a j route closest to cut route. If a route is getting too large, so they cut it, who is given that chunk of the route? My route is the lowest at a 40k, but someone else who has seniority is claiming she would get it even though her route is a 45k. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the system will take volume from neighborhoods and create routes. I was told this earlier this year after getting RRECS Training for input and mapping. This will all be automated, which I don't know if I trust automation yet. Just look at Amazon Sundays! If there's a future with rrecs, who is to say a good percentage of routes aren't changed after mapping is complete, squaring up may be a priority. Territory may change on a lot of routes. Keep in mind that the routes aren't yours or mine, they are the postal service's and they will make decisions with no disregard of you or me.
It's complicated to give an answer that would provide 100% certainty. So many variables and opinions that will not be the same as the individuals making the decision. This question should not really be in the question category as there's too many ways to answer with no real answer.
