I'm getting a pretty good snow in my neck of the woods... the 1st significant snow since I retired, and funny thing is, it doesn't seem to bother me that much now... lol... back when I was still delivering the mail, I'd have to worry about getting up early to get the ole mail car cleared of snow and such, shovel sidewalks, etc., etc... then worry about driving on crap slippery roads all day, etc., etc.... now I think I'll just sleep in and hibernate and not go anywhere until it's all over and the roads are cleared...

I'd just do all the normal scans... clockin, stay a little while, then clockout... boom, you got proof you were there... fill out the 4240, and go home...

Unless it was unsafe to drive, wouldn't you still go service the route getting collection mail? Sorry, over here we get a foot of snow and keep going like nothing happened lol

Yeah, I guess I might run up and down the roads that were cleared...

We got so much snow, I haven't even gotten any mail this week so far... doh.... I don't think I ever had a day when I was delivering mail that I didn't deliver most of my route... pretty sure we had this much snow a few times... the place is falling apart without us old timers... lol....
