Work relief list when holiday falls on Saturday

So what if my scheduled off day is Saturdays but due to lack of subs I’ve been working every Saturday and given Friday off. So I was told I have to work Friday of next week and I’d be given Thursday off. Do I get holiday pay + daca 3?

Hopefully, you are getting 50% pay on top of another day off other than your Relief Day. If your mgmt is just “swapping“ your scheduled day off, that is wrong & you’re getting screwed. If you signed the RDWL, it’s your choice on how to get paid for it... R, 3, or 5. If you’re not on the list, your only option is 3 (X-day + 50% pay).
With Saturday being your Relief Day, Friday becomes your Holiday. If you work Friday, it’s a DACA “V”. You get a day’s pay for working & a day’s pay for the Holiday.

Ok, can someone please clarify this for me because I’m going back and forth with someone else about this. My relief day is normally Saturday, so this holiday my relief day is Friday. I am working it. Friday will be a normal pay day and then I get paid for Saturday being a holiday, correct? Someone is trying to tell me she always gets paid time and a half for working her holiday and her steward says that’s correct.

You should have just read this thread!
Your relief day does not move, the holiday does. Friday becomes your holiday, if you work it you get paid regular pay plus you get paid for the holiday. (you are correct about that) Someone and your steward are wrong, you only get paid regular pay for working your holiday unless it's Xmas, then you do get 150% for working that but that's the only holiday you get at 150%

I skimmed the thread super quick hahaha. Thanks! I feel like I’m taking crazy pills going back and forth with her.

Just to add to what you said (and its also in another post on this thread) in essence you will get (200% pay) a V day as well as a days pay for working Friday.

If you are on the RDWL, it is your choice of R, 3, or 5 for working your Saturday. If your working for an R or a 3, then mgmt is scheduling the following Friday as your X-Day.
Since your Relief Day is on Saturday, Friday becomes your Holiday. Your mgmt is forcing you to take an X-Day on Thursday & work your Holiday on Friday. There is no R, 3, or 5 choice for the 4th of July.

So my PM is telling me that I don’t get a day off this week because I was off on Saturday the 4th. Is this right?
