Well I'm gonna go out on a limb here, since it appears that you don't seem to be the "injured employee in question". ( you would already have the answer to your question if you were ). My best guess is that you are the person who feels bent because this injured carrier is holding up your plans. Seriously, you ask this question not once, but twice on xmas day haha. So pathetic. Here's some good advice from my own personal experience as an injured carrier who has torn her shoulders FOUR TIMES on the job during her career.
First and foremost much to your disappointment their route is THEIRS for 2 years after an approved workplace injury so keep your pants on. The route will post when it's gonna post.
Secondly, minding your own business, and not behaving like a vulture on a piece of roadkill is in your best interest.
Lastly, don't be an idiot like one of my former RCA's was and tell the route customers that the regular returning to THEIR route is putting YOU out of a job. That behavior lacks social grace, and basically makes you look like a complete loser to not only the route customers, but your coworkers as well.
So quick summation- MYOB, and Merry Xmas </blockquote>
Well, first and foremost, your guess is WRONG.
And your assumptions about me being pathetic, a vulture, an idiot, and a loser are not only baseless but PRE-JUDGMENTAL as well!
You do not know any S**T about me.
Truth to tell, I HAVE A ROUTE THAT I LOVE SO MUCH and in no way, interested in the route in question.
The injured person is a very good friend of mine and is one of the best carriers I have learned a lot from.
But lately, there has been a lot of rumors about the route getting posted soon; thus, I came to the forum to seek for ENLIGHTENMENT.
Then here you are, acting so all-knowing and condescending - even talking about something ("social grace") you obviously don't possess. DUH?!?!
If you can't say anything nice and decent, just shut the hell up.
Oh, and don't get naked and shoot your supervisor !
