So those are sortable flats and will be counted during the mail survey.
I’d demand time for throwing out the trash, though, if you’re doing that!

Misthrows and any dropped off at your PO ( not from plant) that are not WSS or boxholders. ie: local newspaperbut... that is the only time i will have flats counted? that aren't presort? correct.?
Your pm has access and had to show you every day unless you do not receive dps.what about all us routes that dont have the luxary of this ? aka small towns
If they are bundled flats they do not get counted they will have that number on the report.no not fss... our flats come in tubs filled with raw letters, packages, candy wrappers, loose papers and flats, registered bag, pile of labels strewn in...
so thinking, this mailcount, might be our only opportunity to count flats, for an entire year average?
small towns might be hosed
I was told they have the numbers for newspapers if they come banded and separated by route.Misthrows and any dropped off at your PO ( not from plant) that are not WSS or boxholders. ie: local newspaper

Ours come the same way to the office. The clerck should remove the letters and parcels before giving you the tub of loose parcels. If the tub had your route number on the tag they do not get counted, they already have the count. Only flats that the clerk sorts out of the tubs not labeled with your route number. I saw the report today and it looks accurate.no not fss... our flats come in tubs filled with raw letters, packages, candy wrappers, loose papers and flats, registered bag, pile of labels strewn in...

If they are bundled with your route number they do not get counted. If they are for other routes or the po they need to be counted.whole office gets 4 tubs, sticker says zip code
Number 19 in the Mini Survey Q & A.I was told they have the numbers for newspapers if they come banded and separated by route.
That's what they told him at training yesterday. I will point this out to him and have him look again and I'll ask the union. ThanksNumber 19 in the Mini Survey Q & A.
NRLCA has been known to change answers.
Some drop-off newspapers are paid through a postal pay site (don’t recall the name) so if bundled by route then the numbers are already reported. If not bundled by route then they are to be counted.Number 19 in the Mini Survey Q & A.

my stew was told by her DR that she may go if invited by PM.Found out that the mgmt training is also for Stewards & a member of the USPS mgmt team is training with the Union. It is a Collaboration.
(This goes without saying, but I will say it anyway: they truly are freaking morons).
Is it just me (getting old) but I can’t for the life of me remember these acronyms. I asked PM for access to DMS/LMT. She was like WHAT. I said you know what I’m talking about since we’ve been arguing about it for months. Please… someone list themWant to correct myself in a post upthread where I replied to a question about NLM. I think the acronym stands for Non Linear Measurement, for those who are persnickety (like me) and like to use the precise nomenclature. In conversation with a supervisor yesterday, he kept calling flats “magazines” and my eye started twitching every time he said it…

Hah! I will when I get a moment. It’s a point of pride with me to know all this stuff. I’ll do a RRECS acronyms post.Is it just me (getting old) but I can’t for the life of me remember these acronyms. I asked PM for access to DMS/LMT. She was like WHAT. If I am understanding you, this is absolutely incorrect. Union reps in offices are required to attend. Your steward needs to contact your DR. The PM is not required to accompany the steward or provide transportation, but mileage will be paid.my stew was told by her DR that she may go if invited by PM.
not mandatory on PM to take her.
and, of course, no invitation has been issued.
