If you’re getting screwed by 95 minutes a week, just add 7.9 minutes per day to your load time and/or end of shift. If rrecs is screwing you, screw them back.

Ours are easy to remove just tap them with a mallet from the underside. They pop right off. they also pop right off when going down gravel roads on Sunday if nothing on them.

I started as a TRC subbing for a H Route.... was a RCA for about 12 years.... so, I know the taste of dirt sandwiches..... Recently I worked my way up to a little North of $86K, so that was a little tastier.... now this RRECS beast is gonna set me back some....

You need to look more deeply into evaluated system:

1. USPS cheats at mail count as proven when NRLCA won a $100 million grievance for cheating.
2. USPS controls the flow of mail more now than in the past with weaker service goals.
3. Do you think you will be as fast in your 40s, 50s, 60s as in your 20s?
4. Do you think a city carrier working at his or her pace will have the same arthritis and ailments as a runner rural carrier 30 years on bumpy roads?
5. Due to being non-career for 5 plus years rural carriers retire 5 years later 5 years older and 5 years more sore and slower (and live 5 fewer years retired).
6. With uneven flow of mail you could work hours under some days and then hours over others. You make the same money either way. City carriers are guaranteed 8 hours 40K with paid breaks and make 150 to 200% penalty overtime for their over days when you got no extra pay.
7. The "incentive" system incentivizes skipping safety rules and service requirements to make that under eval.
8. Not only are city paid more they are paid for breaks, two 10 or 15 minute breaks a day locally negotiated. That is the equivalent of 2-3 hours under evaluation in 6 days not busting your booty.
9. City carriers can't fall from K to H. They can't be reduced below 40 hours, they don't worry if they have a sub, rural carriers may be reduced to 12 hours a week if the evaluation falls that much. Ask carriers from disaster areas.
10. City carriers retirement is higher due to career status years, higher wages, and the inability of rural carriers to control their evaluation at 48K.

You never see the greener grass if you never look up.

Anyone that puts the time in as a RCA is not going to want to waste all those years after becoming reg in the hopes that things will be better. So you are saying they didn't realize they were gonna still be under the evaluated time standard, and not hourly. OK
