Expectations for New Contract

Just out of curiosity, what did they claim?
Among many other things, that every sub would be starting at over $30/hr, they didn't need to work more than 5 days a week and regulars would all be making $106,000 a year like her, etc. She spent more time stumping for the union than teaching academy and giving accurate info about mail. Figured out why all the RCAs the last 2 years in this area get to their offices knowing next to nothing about RRECS, Classes or mail, RTS stuff with ancillary service endorsements, etc. SMH

If I get moved to table 2… I’ll definitely be quitting
I do not see them moving all the new Table 2 peeps to Table 1.... USPS will say, hey WTH, Table 2 now merges with Table 1 top pay at 15 years, isn't that good enuf for everybody, and since we want equitable treatment, let's just put everybody on Table 2.... old timers won't be hurt much as they're already at top pay.... the pipe dream of Table 2 was to eventually get everybody on it.... this will just speed up that process.... a while back, I heard NALC peeps posting that the new pay Table would closely resemble their current Table 2. Their Table 2 is better than ours, but if that happens to NALC, you can about count on it for NRLCA.... jmho.... 🤷‍♂️👉

Agree to a degree, rrecs is not perfect and it took way to long to implement. Then we got a broken rag tag hacked apart version with no clue what the engineers actually assigned time wise to tasks.
RRECS is a scam to steal Ray Charles saw this comming they do not deny that they remove scans at the end of the day. better start asking why the Geo Tab system that cost $2 billion has been put in LLVs that are on the way to the junk yard. it is not to keep track of engine hours like they claim there is no need for that the engine is going to the scrap yard with the rest of it. Just remember from the first second they hired you they started building case against you the scanner is just another tool they have to do that with. their plan is to save money by not paying pensions second oldest company trick in the book first is to not pay a fair wage.

I’m table 1 but only became a regular 1 year ago. It would be a significant pay drop for me.

I already am trying to find a way out, I worked 6-7 days a week for 21 years as an RCA; as a regular I hoped for a 5 day work week and I’ve work my K days this past year more that I haven’t. At this point I need a better life. I can’t live for work anymore.

I can’t plan time off as we don’t have enough subs…just this week we had an eager potential rca applicant and they got to training a found out our office is POV. 🤦‍♀️why aren’t people informed of this information immediately upon applying. Needless to say they backed out. They’ll probably apply to a neighboring office with GOVs

This job went to $#!+ :poop: on steroids when they decided they needed to GPS the scammers..... anybody remember when we had to pair the scammers with the little flippy phones.... that's where it all went into overdrive.... now they got all this stuff integrated in to Gov vehicles, and done by the scammers to some extent for POVs....🤷‍♂️👉(n)💩

I really do feel bad for the long time RCAs who thought for many years that things would be better when they finally made Reg.... only to get hit with the reality that in many ways nowadays, it is actually worse being a Reg.... back in the day, it was a big improvement to make Reg.... but that's not always the case anymore with the sub shortages and so forth.... Regs now working other routes, and relief days, and Sundays.... wtf.... the Regs are the new subs.... 🤷‍♂️👉(n)💩

Wouldn’t effect me in the least but just an FYI… Table 2 tops at 14 Years, not 15.

After that many years, it's sort of hamburger/cheeseburger..... too long either way.... it certainly is longer than top pay for Table 1ers, and table 2 top pay for NALC peeps.... never understood why NALC could have their top pay match for BOTH Table 1 & 2 in the exact same amount of time, but yet NRLCA needed to add a couple of years for our Table 2ers.... 🤷‍♂️👉(n)💩

This is EXACTLY what people need to be talking about. If there’s one thing the government does better than incompetence and wasteful spending, it’s making you believe that they’re just incompetent and wasteful spenders and there’s no underlying sinister ulterior motive. The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he didn’t exist. The cost of those things immediately threw up a red flag for me… there is no way they dropped that amount of money without expecting a return on investment.. i.e even MORE of your paychecks.

Bingo and also with the mileage, why do the carriers then have to scan the mileage in and out each day????????? Oh wait we have scanners that track us, they have to scan mileage, & geo tab??? Maybe just a bit overkill?

They have been deleting RRECS scans for a while. I had an airhead OIC that admitted to it. Why not? After all, the Union agreed to it without limitation.

You summed it up nicely my friend

when did you pair the scanner to a flip phone?!

I remember when of all the packages we got only a handful of them had scans. My regular scanned everything delivered before he left the office so he didn’t have to use the scanner on the street.

I think it was somewhere around 2016 or so.... when they first started integrating some of the initial RRECS "time study" stuff.... then we got the next Gen of scammers (the Blue bricks) that had GPS, and then the little flippy phones went away.... it was less than year that we used them.... just another wasteful USPS thing.... 🤷‍♂️👉(n)💩

I’ve been at the PO since 2002 we never did that… i remember when we got the brick scanners my Regular hated them. I was happy because they were so much faster than the old ones.

I assumed he hated them because he was told he needed to scan everything at the delivery point not in the office.

Our office did it somewhere around 2012. Lasted most of a year. Real pain.

Also had an RCA that scanned everything delivered before leaving. Later if customer called looking for a package next day, they’d call her, she’d say it must have fell under the seat of her truck. She’d bring it in following day. Turns out she was stealing them, and hiding trays of mail at home. Crazy.

I remember the flippy phones because I always blew through some stop sign out in the middle of nowhere on my route.... it was at an intersection where there is never any traffic or other cars, and you can see forever, so I always just slowed down and looked before rolling through.... LOL.... after we got the GPS on the scammers via the flippy phones, within a week there were always "undercover" peeps out there at that intersection everyday.... like I couldn't figure out who they were or that they all of a sudden appeared almost every day in a spot where nobody was ever at previously.... it showed me that all this nanny scammer BS was really just a justification for mngt peeps to have something to do and hassle carriers... I just played the game, came to a complete stop and waved at the undercover peeps when they were present there, and rolled on thru when they weren't.... they're so ridiculous... 🤷‍♂️👉o_O:sneaky:(y):ROFLMAO:

You would think in an election year USPS wouldn't let multiple contracts expire. The word we hear is they will extend contract negotiations... What else can they do? Oh yeah, strike like a REAL union and hold Dejoy's feet to the flames as Election Day approaches to ensure a positive outcome for ALL crafts. The stakes have never been higher than they are now with the nation increasingly dependent on mail-in ballots. We deliver for America and America needs to deliver for us.
I’m afraid they’re going to use the fact there’s no contracts to privatize the post office. I think it’s the ultimate plan for one party.
