Taking pictures of delivered parcels

Can someone that was in the pilot study explain how we are supposed to take pictures of parcels that we put behind storm doors, especially when it is pouring rain and the door has a closer.

Are you in test zone that activated the scanners camera? We don't do any picture taking.
 
We don't and don't do either one. A couple of years ago a we had a standup talk about a putting packages between doors. P.O. said stop and don't do it. Reason was they were paying for damaged doors. The wind would catch the door and damage it. I know UPS has done this.

was told that when I started as a city carrier years ago. I tell new RCA's not to do that
