Refreshing CBU Labels, during route or end of shift duties?

I searched the site but couldn’t get any clearance on this, A lot of my labels are really old, and they’re getting ripped and yellowed so i need to replace them soon. Is this done at the end of day or do I have to do it while im on the route? I would prefer to do it EOS so it goes toward my route evaluation, since i’m trying to fix my route. (previous regular wasn’t doing all scans) but don’t want to get in trouble.

My second question about labels, when a new neighborhood is built and the CBUs are put up who is in charge of labeling those new CBUs? I thought it’s whoever gets plot maps (maintenance in my office) but they wanted for me to be the one who labeled all the new CBUs but just during my route.

Thanks!

Here's how I did mine. Can't promise it is right.

#1 Old labels in CBUs I ripped out and prepare for new labels. I did that as 8127 time since I was out on the route.

When making new labels, I did that on EoS time.

#2 Maintenance is done by management usually. I have changed locks on multiple occasions. Changing locks is 8127 time. When you put new labels in CBU, I did 8127 time since it isn't regularly occurring event. I have changed labels completely once in 4 years because they got so dirty.

I use DPS tags for names and so when customer moves out put it out of cover and put new one in.

I thought about doing it as 8127 time, I had 3 new CBUs that needed labeling but they told me it’s just apart of maintenance so it’s in my evaluation, they didn’t want to pay me.

I have to resequence some CBUs so i just printed all the labels on EOS today and then i guess i’ll just have to relabel during my route once my maintenance guy changes all the locks?

as for refreshing all my labels though id like to try to do it EOS throughout the week so i dont have to worry about it interfering with my business pickups since they all close at a certain time. guess i’ll have to ask

your management might be getting confused with the verbage on #17. it doesn't take much, bless their little hearts.

maintenance of labels is "built in" provided you are doing such on EOS. so, getting your case labels reprinted and putting them on your case is absolutely done on EOS.
i agree with the technique that @ATCBigE uses as it is basically the same as mine.
