48k bust and routes at 40k and under--new eval

Quick question,

What’s the point of a 47-48k if you can’t keep it?!

Why put it on the salary chart?!

For the record I was >48k the entire time rrecs has been around up until last falls count when I dropped to 47 and now I’m no longer in overburdened status after this most recent count. I really am not sure if there’s any rhyme or reason as to how they decide who or where to cut. Worked out for me as I’m likely to keep dropping with volume these days.

exactly! They might as well have 49, 50, 51 etc and pay us what we are working! Why stop at 47 and 48? been asking myself that for over 20 years

Quick update on my 48k being adjusted!

Months back after our new evaluations management decided not to cut my route!

However, out of the blue today I received a form 50 that states that my route was adjusted to a 47k!

Is this normal for routes to be adjusted without notice?

I’m not complaining because 47k is better than 43k, but I found it odd?

Anyone else got their route adjusted similar to my situation?

Quick note, I did notice that last month after completing my monthly mapping, there is a new feature that calculates new route hours based on closing or adding boxes! For example, I lost deliveries last month and it dropped my route hours, but when I mapped this month, I open more deliveries and gain an hour! I wonder if this is what triggered my route adjustment!

Yes it is . Apparently it is automatic now onwards . As you said it gained one hour according to latest mapping, you will gain back the hour evaluation with a new form 50 next month if they are true to words . It is very important to verify TCPs , mileage every month. TCPs are notorious for disappearing on their own

Yes they are. Just lost some. Need to have a master copy of correct data on route with you when our sit down to map. Make certain it is correct before you allow management to submit. I lost a handful and it got submitted that way because I was rushing to get it done. Lesson learned, not something to rush through.
How in the world, if a carrier is on an overburdened and working over evaluation are they to get this done? Pretty sure we skipped Dec mapping every year because finding time for it is a problem.

Grievance time! Require management to "make" time under EOS. It is your evaluation!
