Agreement to Square Route

So I have a Parent/Child Route the parent office had to cut routes and interm OIC/postmaster wanted to square up some lines of travel, which I completely agreed waws logical. I was asked if before I left on medical leave if I would write a note agreeing to route cuts to square routes. I was currently a 46K so when they squared routes in the Parent office this put it at a 48K so the child office (which only has 2 fulltime routes was being forced to cut a 47K and create an Aux) need to cut on their side. However this postmaster took it upon themselves to cut ALL the new growth off add it to the newly created Aux Route which dropped me to a 43K, which I have no doubt will probably drop further because any new areas of growth are gone.

Not sure why the interm OIC/Postmaster didn't question this but either way I have been on medical leave no asked me on the Child Side of route no one called me (despite me asking to let me know before they did anything) I find out this week when they send me the Edit Book to check the line of travel before they order new labesl! Now we are in a rural area parent office has 3 full time (including my route) small Aux now and Child Office has 1 full time routes one that goes to another office.

Of course I call and say I agreed to squaring routes and if mine went down an hour but still has areas of new growth I could deal with that. Of course each side is blaming the other neither Postmaster talked with each other. The letter I wrote is at the offie (since I went on medical leave) but I will file a grievance but not sure if it will makes a difference now that the route cuts are done and effective actually today.

Thanks for the help!
