Anyone have crazy results?

It's not my route. But the 12H is about 150 units in 10 cluster boxes at one stop. I didn't see the paperwork but it gets between 5 and 30 parcels a day, 30 being a bad day after a holiday so probably usually 15 average would be my guess. And almost all of them into the mailbox or parcel locker.

The 2nd route gets around a thousand parcels a day no lie. It's basically 10 businesses that get all that volume.
How is that even possible? The carrier was probably done in 45 mins a day and now no longer has a route

12H doesn’t seem to be far off . In what world it ever was a 42J ? I find that was unbelievable to begin with . How many miles ? Doesn’t seem to be any more than 20H to me unless unusually long mileage

As for the 2nd route which delivers about 1000 packages a day ( even to 10 addresses) cannot be less than 48k . Just the packages itself is about 12 hrs a day . Add to that load time , numerous trip to door , mileage , normal mail , office walk etc easily will make it to 16 hrs a day . . Someone screwed up big time somewhere when adjusting the routes before freezing .

Addendum: I corrected my post after calculating . This route must have been part of humongous route before adjustment. When they cut the route they cut the real work to this auxiliary but kept all light work addresses to old route . I will bet my life that old route lost hours big time this time around. Is that the 12H or 26H ? This never would have happened if RRECS would have stored data per address . They need to distribute those 10 addresses to 3 routes even if it goes against squaring off if they want stability of routes . Alternately they can make 2 routes exclusively with this addresses and never transfer them to any other route

My route dropped over 9 hours. I've been very diligent about my scans. I was frozen for a year after they cut a bunch from my route. Lost most of amazon a couple of weeks after my route got cut from a 48k to a 44k. It's now a 43h! The route that gained from mine went from an aux to a 44h when we did the cut over a year ago. No it's 32 h. Does anybody know how that other route gets paid? Is it accu
tally the guaranteed salary? I've been here almost 34 years. This really stinks!

If you have less than 700 boxes unless it's a 75 plus mile long route you are most likely going to be a smaller sized route like a J or H. All CBU routes need 900 or more boxes to be larger than 43K or so. Volume without Amazon just isnt there to support large K routes. I average 140 parcels delivered and over 200 picked up daily still barely a mid size K route with 850 addresses. No idea how some routes with 60 parcels a day are K routes. Stop and hop routes or routes with very small cbu boxes but many benefitted by far the most with the rrecs system as dismounts went from 3 seconds to about a minute each

How is it my numbers are the same for every count ,dps letters 10.61
Markups 7.62 ???? They consistently stayed the same ?????
For everyone that has had identical time for DPS, you are only getting credited with withdrawal time.

You are not getting any credit for days with less than 400 DPS letters and days with multiple runs of DPS.

You are supposed to get a casing credit for those days mentioned. It is a decent per piece credit. As such, for your numbers to be IDENTICAL, there is no way you got credit for any of those days with the DPS exceptions.

This is nothing new. The USPS has known about it since the first survey and has refused to pay. I've filed a dispute every time and it's never been resolved.

I don’t know . I have 19 mile route . 735 residential, 60 business address . All CBU other than 3 businesses where I go in ( delivery and pick up ) . According to this mms — 126 package delivery and 149 p/u a day . I came out 49k . It could have been 50k if they were not splitting my route so often when I am off . Are you doing your pick ups proper way ? Just asking . Is your route all apartments ? Only a handful authorized dismounts ?

All - or at least anyone who dropped hours and classification:

-- Be sure to drop X-President Dwyer a "thank you" note for the "wonderful" RRECS system.

-- And for standing firm and never considering having the Rural community go hourly.

-- Wonder if the new National Board members will put together a listing of how may routes went up or down?
Just 2 months ago donnie was saying how great RRECS was and that it was working for us. glad he's retired and or gone

Craziest result in my office was an unfrozen 41k route dropping to a 42h. All of the other unfrozen K routes went down to J routes.

We were all 48k routes for years but they decided to cut us all right after we lost amazon.
Our office (9 48ks then 12 43k and a aux) got cut then every one of us when down this spring after being froze. Lost amazon in February. Now this count everyone is H or J, lowest H 28 and others under 40h

I just want to point out one thing though . Say you have less than 400 in DPS once a month ( I haven’t less than 400 even once in my 22 years ) . Just to keep it simple to calculate say every instances it is 301 pieces . .that will make it 12 pieces a day and 72 pieces a week toward your weekly evaluation. What do you think that will add to your weekly evaluation? 3 minutes? I just thought I put out this . There are problems with RRECS . But these are not it. Number one being they are not storing the data’s per address yet which is causing all this havocs with constant fluctuations . But that was one of the biggest selling point for this system. That’s what they advertised to us . And lack of that thing is behind our most of the misery . There are few more things. To this day they never did demonstrate conclusively whether WSH flats are getting counted or not . Then the matter of subs not recording properly in day off ( I probably would do the same under the 40 hr rule ) . Things like that . Otherwise this system could have been really great

Yes been doing the pickups right. They have been fighting me on it though recently. Saying only items over 2lbs count. We have multiple grievances in for it none settled for over 12 weeks now.

All -- Sure sounds like the USPS has finally found a way to deal with the lack of RCAs by making a lot of new H routes!

-- Hopefully the USPS also has a plan for the regular carriers who find themselves on a route below 35 standard hours or worse.

How ? By paying free money ( guaranteed salary )to bunch of people for no work ???

This is not evilness. This is incompetence and lack of foresight.

For routes that fell under 40H, they’re not going to get the guaranteed salary because 10/3 coincides with start of new guarantee year. The only time you would benefit is if it happened in spring MMS.

No . It starts on 3rd October. Guaranteed salary will remain in effect for 1 full year . You benefit less if it happens in spring which covers only for 6 months

Yeah unfortunately 2lb thing is right according to the language. I will be honest though— mms gave me 149 per day but I was actually picking up about 200 a day while over 2 lb probably about 100 a day strictly speaking

my 48+K route lost most of Amazon. It was cut to 44k last August(may have been about a 42K w/o cuts naturally in Sept 2025 count) ..Unfrozen this time and comes back as a 42J/46H. Now i probably have to fight to get them to correct high/low option mistake that they made. YIPPEE!!!! No clue if they have any desire to add any boxes back from an Aux route,
