Credit for Footage to Vehicle

1. Do we get measured for the distance to our vehicle when we load? I know it is timed. If so, what column?

2. The yellow UTF stickers on letters/flats that come back from CFS, I was told we get credit to take those off? True/False?

3. I have a jackpot case (I’m aware this isn’t supposed to be allowed). For my spurs, they count as a flat, but I still get credit for the scan too?

4. My route is a mix of drive off and NBUs. For the letters collected from my drive off, does each piece count and the letters that are collected from NBUs, are those counted as one or one for each slot at the NBU?

1) loading time starts when you roll your conveyance away from your case to load. May be several trips with parcels. Do not obstruct vision piling gurney too high. Any parcels the clerks placed where you must pick up off floor around gurney or case you receive time to place into gurney. Same with boxholders placed at case to be taken directly to route, uncased.

2) the CFS errors are a mark-up for each piece that returns.

3) unfortunately, you are going to lose out on parcel credit due to dimensions of your case unless something qualifies on blue template. Yes, scans are an additional count on any piece. Thick catalogues, mostly hard checks, odd shaped stuff that would not have fit in a 1 inch cell, you will lose out on a parcel credit because of case jackpot.

4) all collection mail pieces from single boxes count individually. Number of Cbu slots are to be counted and you get credit for 1 minute a week per collection slot. The mail placed inside cbu slots does not count. You may credit mail placed outside cbu or handed to you by customer. Any bundled collection mail should stay bundled.

Awesome thanks!

It states somewhere about a reasonable amount of distance from your work area and scanner retrievel is there as well. You should of discussed that in your pre count conference. I know if you get measured in the office anything over 50ft is credited plus timed in the afternoon so excessive distance to your car shouldn't be handled any other way in my option. We all know what options are like though. If they don't want to be fair and do the morel right thing (lmbo) then I would dispute it. Every office have different circumstances and parking is out of your control. The way I look at it is if you do the work you should be fully compensated how ever that maybe. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY COUNTING

right but both are used for the same function in returning to office. From my case to markup throw backs etc is measured but the in the pm walk around ill be timed to distribute in these same places.

To add:

2) These "...For Carrier Review..." were credited individually as No Record Mail (NMR) on my tally sheet in past counts.

3) Items from hamper were counted at a location away from the case and credited by parcel/flat criteria. Where I put them in the case (regular box cell, CBU jackpot, tub, etc...had no bearing.

Wrong. Throwback case is not measured at all. It’s timed only both morning and evening.
DPS location, Parcels (each conveyor), and the Accountables location are the measured in office.

Not trying to hijack OP...

What if you have to inspect an LLV daily? The rule is to fire up and inspect prior to case time.

The Keys are on the cart or hanging somewhere for your grab daily in office. From key grab to do this, should you be credited the footage to LLV with time credits given for this?
