DPS Review question

So after count we can always do a DPS review correct?
But a DPS review is based on the errors received to your route.
So if you count all your errors now and then ask for a review and count all the errors in two weeks, then the numbers will be the same,
and you will not be on sector segment.
However...and I am not advocating this....lets say you do not count any errors in your DPS during mini mail survey, and then when you ask for a review and you DO count all the errors in your DPS, would that not give you a better shot at going sector segment?

again, not saying to do this, just a hypothetical to see if I am thinking correctly.

Can we do a DPS review during this mini survey? I asked this due to the fact that if the NLM numbers are actually counted by a machine then why can the same raw letters not be run through a DPS machine?

I think having the raw letters run through the machines again will show up on one of the many dumbass "lists" .

I wouldn't request one during a count period. You could but, the data would bridge two separate calculations. I'd wait until after for a better chance of failure. The dps numbers are running very clean across the country right now. Very little residual mail.

Very little residual mail.
Out of 2619 pieces of DPS, I had like 2 not for my route and another 2 inverted . Normally, with this volume, I'd have 15-20 3M and 60ish upside downs-- minimum. Some lucky sobs in the next zone over, had all their Spectrums upside down this morning. Guess whoever was running my machine was dutifully following orders.

Edit: They are most definitely running a second pass. Which never happens on a Monday.

Oh. I’m not surprised Just sick and tired and I’ve done multiple DPS reviews. I’m just sick and tired of all this raw mail that my route gets and there’s no compensation for it. If this NLM run through a machine for a variable piece count, my question is why can’t the same mail be run through a DPS machine like it should’ve been in the first place.
