Hello again. Quick question. How are we to keep up with our raw letters and flats separated by clerks? Thanks!!!!

Not sure exactly what you are asking but if your question is how are raw letters and flats accounted for under RRECS, they will be counted during the scheduled “mini counts” and what you receive then will be added to your evaluation.
Outside of the minicounts, we don’t track or scan raw letters or flats as part of RRECS if that is what you are asking.

What's the point in rrecs if it doesn't track all mail?
I use load truck. Yesterday, there were 19 parcels not accredited to my route(typical). I don't believe that just because I scan it, I get the credit. If a parcel runner takes parcels for R01,02,03. Those routes only get credit if those parcels were assigned routes.
I bet less than a few hundred carriers use load truck, so no one will even see this as a problem.

Also, package look ahead. If you don’t have package look ahead activated on scanner, how are parcels being accounted for? I use to have on old brick, but not now. Informed PM and her response “ I can’t do anything about it, it’s all automatic!” When I try to pull up it flashes

I brought this up. You watch most places don't mail off water bills. I bet money they will tell all offices to mail those things off during this count and they will magically appear next month
Good question because I use to have lookahead in my home office. Tried to use it a while back and same thing. NO AMS

From what I’ve been told, clerk scanners should be set up so as to any packages scanned arrival at unit will develop a list for each rte. Once their scanners are cradled and downloaded it transfers data to our scanners. Clerk cradles her scanner every time I turn around so that’s not the problem. I’ve asked PM to contact anyone to get this corrected

Your clerk is doing something wrong on set up or end of sorting parcels on their scanner. Require your pm to get it fixed

Is there a grace period for “clocking in” or do we all have to grab our scanners and clock in at the exact minute of our start time?

If I get to work and grab my scanner to clock in, I immediately need to cradle it or else when I clerks are done with scanning incoming parcels my scanner will not pick them up when using load truck feature. Additionally, if that is the case, do I get credit for retrieving my scanner twice in a day? Furthermore, I wonder if this is goin to be an issue?

All the talk for mini counts is about clerk sorted letters and flats. Does any one know how pre-sorted flats are handled. All along I had been led to believe the "system" was including them. Now I'm pretty sure it's not. So will these be part of the mini-count too??

Scans should be 4th or 5th choice on front page. Rural Activity scans or something like that
It wasn't on there. There was no rural activity scan on it. I found along with what the sheet told me to do.
I'm guessing scanners haven't updated or something.

Typical I guess. Ours showed up Tuesday after the holiday. I accidentally scanned out to route while looking at it. Still haven’t scanned back in lol
Ours showed up last Saturday. make sure you are logged in under rural and motorized to the street. Second part I am not 100% sure on but that’s what I choose and saw it last Saturday. The cpl who do walking option never saw it till Tuesday.
Are you logged in as a rural carrier? It's easy to log in as a diff craft if you aren't paying attention.
Maybe you are under city carrier. This might have happened to me before.
I was logged in as rural carrier. I logged in and out multiple times. I did switch walking to motorized too.
My home screen was still the same old one. I guess they have changed from what people have told me.
