Does anyone know what a non scheduled crossfoot is? no pay involved, but looks like an increase in annual/sick leave.

mslette86 -- "Does anyone know what a non scheduled crossfoot is? no pay involved, but looks like an increase in annual/sick leave."

-- Are you a rural carrier?

-- Where did you see the term "non schedule crossfoot"? On your pay stub?

-- In the F-18 ( Payroll Journal Guide ), it mentions "Negative cross-foot" as a Code 63. And "Nonscheduled cross-foot hours" as a Code 76 in Appendix A -- and no where else!

-- Such codes usually apply to postal workers who are paid hourly and not applied to rural carriers.

-- Could be whom ever is making TACS entries is making mistaken entries.

-- One on-line poster put it this way: "TACS requires that 40 hours be input for everyone. So if you work ( say ) 27 hours one week, TACS would reguire that 13 hours of "non schedulted" time also be entered to account for a full 40 hours. It is just a placeholder, really, showing how many hours short of 40 you actually are."

-- In the real world, probably an "accounting" term.

-- Anyone?

Non-scheduled crossfoot is for hourly employees only.

I agree with @btdtret - someone doesn't know what he/she is doing in TACS. Are you an RCA or reg? Have you worked under a 40 eval? Could be he saw your 40K, you worked 39 and he made up the difference.
