Thank you. It's much appreciated.
Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but obviously the Christmas season is coming. Crazy time to start. Absolutely nuts.
On top of that is whether or not your office delivers Free Amazon, an old hot bed issue around here. (PO decided how much to pay per route, set that figure, then dropped Amazon on top weeks later). Amazon and Christmas can cause severe havoc.
If you do have the Amazon curse, keep in the back of your mind that the workload is simply more than even a highly experienced worker can accomplish unassisted. Problem is, PO is not keen on providing assistance.

Yea I am nervous to say the least at time of year I am starting. Seems like every time I start at a new place it's right before black friday. No better way to learn then to be thrown into the trenches, I guess lol. It's a suicide mission, but for the moment I have been left with no other option.

Did you ever get the chance to read Milkymint's thread as a new RCA.... I think she started at around this time of year... quite an interesting thead.... might be a little insight in to what is ahead for you....

Hi, I'm new here and have questions about being an RCA. Originally I was hired to be a Holiday Casual CEP, but the ladies who interviewed me told me to keep applying for a better position because I was "over qualified." The only other positions available in my area were RCA's, so I interviewed...

@Boricuanessa you can do it! We have one girl in our office that started last Christmas and she’s still surviving the PO. You’ll do fine but you may want to make sure you let your family know now that you will be gone a lot. Spend as much time with them now before you start at your office and try not to let all the grumpy postal people get you down. Ignore the aholes and there will be aholes. Do your best and I believe you will be ok. Good luck and keep us updated with your progress.

I joined a Facebook group that gave me much more hope, lol. I have also been applying to CCA and PSE positions. I am looking for more guaranteed hours and faster move to career. Not trying to lay back on this. I have kids to feed! ❤?

Great, it does sound like you have read the tea leaves correctly....
This site does tend a bit more toward the brutally honest advice, and I usually appreciate that... maybe when you're supposedly using your real name, then you start to worry more about saying what you're supposed to say....
