you'll be out longer than that before you are truly steady on your feet or allowed any stair treads, expect at least 8-9 weeks and probably only come back for 3-4 day weeks at first.I foresee a doctors note in your future for stress, maybe even an FMLA case, and take as many as you'd like. Take the whole darn election season off. I'm doing that with my hip replacement surgery starting Sept 21 and out for 4-6 weeks.

As you are probably aware total hip replacement has two techniques, the more invasive one had 12 weeks of restrictions, the other approximately 6 weeks.you'll be out longer than that before you are truly steady on your feet or allowed any stair treads, expect at least 8-9 weeks and probably only come back for 3-4 day weeks at first.
