POV getting Hot

TuckerDad -- "Do you know when this [ RCAs earning leave ] starts? I haven heard anyone in my office even mention it."

-- From the Tentative Agreement 2021-2024:

- All RCAs will earn annual leave at 1 hour for every 20 hours worked, regardless of assignment. ( no mention of sick leave ).

- Supposed to start 6 months after the contract was ratified and signed.

- Signed on 23 MARCH 22, so sometime in September.

After 90 days of being assigned to the aux route. And if I read right, it should retro back to before the 90 days to the actual assignment date. I’m not 100% on that but I do think that is a possibility! And you only acrue those hrs when you carry that aux route.

Sorry, that is if you were referring to being assigned to an aux route or you were just asking for RCA’s in general. 😁

For all RCAs, it is suppose to start within 6 months after contract was signed which was March 24 I believe.

Don't expect it to happen til around Sept 24 IMO. The USPS ain't giving RCAs free money for time off.

Will it go back to my hire date, or not start to accrue until Sept? I'm guessing the latter.

No one knows but I assume the latter. We won't earn it til it starts which is another major screw job.

RCA like me working usually 30 hours a week roughly. I'm going Regular once my guy retires in August. I won't see any leave.

It will start on the date they get it in the system not be back dated. Dont expect it to start until that pay period of sept 24 or the one after personally. Will be on aux and all ready earning SL/AL by then.
