Told to not use doormisc?

I was told to not use doormisc when I go up the door for accountable letters when I leave a notice.

Was told we are already getting credit for the scan at the door on the accountable

The definition is vague
Who is correct?

-- For starters, I got out before RRECS began.

-- As certs sometime show up in the DPS, I'd politely ask manglement at the end of the day to provide a printout confirmation that the route had an accountable item if you delivered it, but it didn't have a green return receipt.

-- On a side note, with RRECS Q&S's in the HUNDREDs, apparently the "engineers" didn't think of everything!

So the trip to door is automatically included whether the certified is delivered or left notice?

Correct. Think of it as a parcel. You do not do 'trip to door' for each parcel you take to the door because the initial trip is calculated with the scan. Certifies are the same.

On a side note. You can use 'doormisc' for parcel pickups when it is at the front door.

Parcel pickups gives the mileage & footage when you scan at the door. No DoorMisc is used unless you pickup anon-scan item

You have been cheating yourself if you haven’t been inputting ‘doormisc’.
That is not for Parcel Pickups. Those are other items that we collect that do not have a scan. Notice in that section, The credits for these items are an automatic average regardless of what is collected or if anything is collected.

Sections 28 & 29 address the credits for Parcel Pickups. Section 28 clearly states that Drive & Walk are credited by the address location.

If you have to go to the door to pickup parcels and you dont have a package pickup scan, you are not getting credit for going to the door.
