UBBM is now supposed to be counted!

Do you really believe any PO's will be making a big deal to tell everybody that we're now gonna count UBBM on this LAST day of the count???? Lol.... yeah, me neither....🤷‍♂️(n)
I actually do and even if not notified today, the Carriers that dispute their numbers will get those DOCUMENTED missing #s will be added in order to get the sign-off.

Peeps have been making noise about it from day ONE, and here we are on the LAST day of the count, and now we hear something.... probably won't be ANY diff at my office, nor MOST offices today.... that's what I mean, they're WORTHLESS.... seems clear to me.... 🤷‍♂️(n):poop::oops:
Again, impressive that we didn’t have to dispute & file prior to end of the Survey. Previous Count Disputes took forever to resolve.

You really do live in LaLaLand. No offense, but if you think management informed newer carriers or rca that they should continue to DOCUMENT these numbers, when they’ve never experienced anything as a mail count/survey.

Shouldn't the fact that they didn't count something that was supposed to be counted, be grounds to grieve or throw out the count???🤷‍♂️

I put mine down every day too. Luckily for me, I just wrote down my letter count down and handed it to a supervisor.
I feel for everyone out there that has to fight for every raw letter with someone hanging over their shoulder.
Do you mind me asking what you averaged per day for your ubbm?
Thanks

I did the same. Carriers in my office kept trying to make this harder than it was supposed to be. They’d separate & then count the categories.
I just piled the DPS pulls from my curbs in the AM & carried them to route; adding to the pile at each CBU stop. Then I Countd every piece before separating at my case. The hardest part is trying to remember to count the Inverteds.
Ikr?..we all know that to get one minute credit, we need 86 letters right?..
Oops...ethelann corrected me..14 raw=1min..
Sorry ya'll

I think if we took a yes no poll of how many are impressed with the NRLCA... the yes votes would give us a pretty good count of the union shills here... js.... do the math...🤷‍♂️🧐

If you were planning to dispute, you need to document. Carriers need to ask questions if they aren’t sure what to do. It’s up to the individual carrier whether they want to make those extra efforts.

I guess everyone forgets being new carrier or an RCA and they’re not really sure WHAT questions to ask. Management tells them what to do and they do it and if you were in an office where you have all new people who don’t ask questions, they take managements word for it. This blaming the carriers for being uninformed should stop. I’ll be the first to say, I have a lot of eye rolling going on when I see some of the questions on this site but then I step back and I tell myself yes I can remember when I was in that place not sure. That’s when I became a steward, so I could learn the answers, the correct way, and the way that the contract was going to uphold them. With this mess you’ve got one sheet with management tells you is correct and you got one sheet which the NRLCA tells you is correct, so who do you believe? You come on the site and you’ve got 1000 different versions of what is correct.

Where's the big announcement on this at the NRLCA website???? We didn't hear $#!+ about it today, so NO UBBM was counted at our offices for entire count.... sheezy Louisy.... what a $#!+ show.... 🤷‍♂️(n):poop::oops:

I will blame carriers for being uninformed. Reams of information was provided by the union and shared here for non-members. Literally hundreds of questions were answered by the union and shared here for non-members. If a carrier couldn’t find info, it’s because they couldn’t be bothered, or they lack the skills to understand what was being answered/explained.

This failure to take responsibility for one’s own actions is a problem (and not just for he rural craft). It’s so much easier to point fingers at others than look in the mirror and say, “Hey, I screwed up. I’ll try to do better next time.”

And the 1000 different answers you get on the site is one of the problems with this site. And I love this site and think it’s valuable for sharing info, venting, and getting a quick answer to a not particularly important question, but no one should be relying on this site solely for information on their employment and livelihoods.

I swear to god it’s always the carrier’s fault with you.

Ever think there’s a 1000 questions and 1000 answers because NO ONE FLIPPING KNOWS HOW RRECS IS WORKING!

They lack the skills to understand? So you think everyone is a moron basically?

Let me ask you a simple question since you know. When you scan a parcel front door does it ping your actual distance or does it use the footage from when you mapped? If you know the answer you’re a bleeping rrecs genius because NO ONE in my whole district knows. Their bosses don’t know. No one in the union here knows! I want to know! I can’t get an answer.

My whole office went from pro union to F the union in these two weeks so hows that training going?

I’m glad your not my steward or whatever you claim to be because Christ you’re no help at all.

hey carriers in my office put the # of trips to get parcels and some kept up with load time on their smartphones. Only thing smart is the phone.

One day left and now the uppers in a meeting have told our supervisor that UBBM is supposed to be counted.
I kept track of mine and added it to the sheet anyway. But no one else kept track, so it is going to be an interesting day tomorrow.
This whole thing is a giant mess! Smh.....
Our postmaster got same email this afternoon
