^^ current campaign to decertify the union found on the link above and on THIS POST! Thousands have already signed but we need more!

Decertify Union Petition
^^ print this off and have any and all carriers at your office and surrounding offices sign (regulars, ptfs and RCA's are al eligible to sign).

Podcast on Decertification of the NRLCA
^^Ron Speakman talks with one of the men behind the decertification of the NRLCA

^^PLEASE LISTEN TO THE PODCAST or visit the website for info regarding this process! We are not going to be without a union and we will not move to a union with unfavorable terms! We will stick with NRLCA if we have to! You are signing ONLY to hold a vote, not to immediately decertify the Union!

John mails out petitions to people who can not print, and he must do this with his own money. PLEASE donate if you can to help him with postage. Click this text for his GoFundMe page. Thank you!

The only way go fix things is to replace our union. It is not getting better anytime soon and no reason to believe it ever will. Current union is useless and they have no power over the USPS because they imposed a no strike clause. What was once a union that advocated for us and fought for us has been replaced by one that continually appeases the Postal Service that fills their pockets. This is a conflict of interest and it must be changed.

Here are just a few ways the NRLCA has failed us:
The inability to purchase back RCA years
2 tier pay system
Comply now grieve later
Withholding back pay for years
No interest on back pay
Cheated out of Covid parcel volume and Amazon for a period
2nd trips for misthrows
Routes over 48k only receive 48K pay (there should be no cap. Cut the route if it's that over burdened but pay the fair wage until it's adjusted!)
Vehicles without A/C and heat
Constant harassment about being "on call" but no "on call" pay and no real rule
Not making it easier to transfer across states (city side has a much better system)
RRECS being implemented and pay being cut before the kinks were worked out
RRECS as a whole
---add your gripe with them here, the list is long

My hope is that everyone would help with this initiative and do something about it in their station and surrounding stations. Go around and collect signatures (it doesn't take long), print and post the signature page in your office, repost the link on other platforms and Rural carrier groups, get in contact with your local media about rural carriers having enough and collecting signatures to switch the union. Exposure is necessary right now and we only have months left before our window closes.

I have been collecting signatures in my area and we are attempting to get the news involved. Anything that you can do to push this cause and get these signatures would be great. By this time next year we could be a part of Teamsters and in a far better position then we are now. Good luck to us all and I hope to see us under a stronger union next year!

Live Interview with Jay H about decertification - Maston’s lies addressed

——————————————————
** UPDATE - 08/26/26 **

Article has been posted on NRLCA website.
Would be nice if the lies got addressed.

It did make me wonder if Maston was completely unaware that the RRECs numbers were posted online by the union for all of us to see? Only 36% of routes stayed within a fluctuation of 1-3 hours (so less than that stayed within 1-2 hours like he stated). Only 6% of routes stayed unchanged, damn near 20% lost more than 8 hours! Another 27% lost 4-7 hours! A total of 66% LOST money with RRECs, so the carriers don't know where the bell curve is that he’s talking about?

Bell Curve: A bell curve describes the shape of data conforming to a normal distribution

It was a steep drop for nearly 50% of employees. 16 thousand new routes now have to work 6 days a week! How does that conform to a normal distribution?!! Even they were blind sided!! “Most routes will go up or down by an hour or 2”… remember them telling us that? They were so far off, 50% lost greater than 4 hours!! And now Maston doesn’t want to address this and wants to say it’s 5 years of mail decline at once?! So what made you think 1-2 hours of fluctuations a year ago? Wasn’t there 4 years of declining mail volume when you guys made that statement?! It is obvious that NRLCA is in bed with USPS, they do anything to appease the post office at this point. NRLCA …. You don’t work for the post office, you work for US!

Not to mention that no one was given sufficient training, non dues paying members were not given access to critical information regarding their pay, and RRECS was implemented knowing that it was not close to 100% accurate, not to mention the countless questions we still don’t have answers to.

Can’t find any flaws in your logic.

I’m all for it!

Also how about cashing in annual leave time.

I support better conditions. This list of demands has quite a few things on it that nrlca has zero control over. Even if they tried.
Only congress can change the buyback. We have people contacting house members in support of these bills.
The two tier pay system was a lock once the clerks happily agreed in their contract. We had it given to us by arbitration. But, parity among crafts is an arbitrator thing.

Bigger concern is people who keep voting the same names and expect change.

I understand the frustration everyone is having but we can't even get the membership to vote on the contract, unless you all make this easy where people can just go to a website and sign, this isn't going to get very far.

Also is there a plan in place in the event that this successful? Otherwise this is going to turn into one giant disorganized mess. Has another union come forward to say they would represent us?

Added: forced out of brand new pov with 4x4,ac,360° windows, and made to deliver out of death traps..I asked the union why we weren't given a choice, and the rep said it was bc there were so few it didnt matter; if there were so few that didn't want to switch, then what was the big deal?..I've been constantly lied to over the years by this union..smgdh

This is great, we lost union representation years ago!

They’re trying to put me in a tin death trap too. I’m battling against them with a medical exemption. I’m eligible to retire, if they keep trying to push me in it I’m gone! I’m not sacrificing my health for this job! Also we don’t have enough carriers to cover the routes now so anyone leaving just leaves a bigger void. The balls in their court.

Mngt and clerks can already do this.... 🤔 🤷‍♂️
It amazes me that our onion can’t easily get something like this in negotiation.

All they have to do is point to these crafts and say “see! Look” “they can why can’t we?”

Especially in a time where we already work our days off and can’t take annual anyway without all hell breaking loose.

If anyone has a good reason why we can’t get this and don’t already please let us know.

All good points.... you'd think USPS wouldn't have a big problem with it.... but, I do wonder how many rurals are forfeiting leave at year end now.... I know of one guy in my office who forfeits AL every year.... not me tho, I'm against that, in a BIG way.... 🤔 🤷‍♂️

If you had a brand new pov, did you apply for your incentive award? If so they can’t touch you for 3 years, and you would have gotten $1000
