Unsupervised Offices Part 2

I noticed that the first one that I posted was closed and not allowed to have many comments but praying this one won’t be. I was advised by Shannonboy in the previous one to get a “backbone” so that is what I did, only to be let down once again by PM and supervisor. Refresh.. Clerk was sending raw mail back in markups and not sorting it to routes and not giving the routes packages that she knew had a P.O. Box, so route also loses a scan. When I caught on to what she was doing, I told her that it wasn’t right and it made her mad and it only made things worse. Like turning the birdcage around backwards that I have to put outgoing mail in and making sure to put the outgoing mail trays and markups on the bottom and i have to remove all outgoing packages just to send my returns back. Even tried to get stamps for my customers on the route and she would not get them for me. Told pm and all she did was come from her office to bring me stamps and never said a thing to the clerk and this has happened twice.Documented everything, pictures and videos. So because I asked her about it, she is now trying to file a harassment complaint. What got this whole thing started is because the clerk knows the first thing I do after I clock in is my dps so (that’s how it’s always been sorted until she got mad) she was making sure that she sorted it last or she would sort the P.O. Box and the aux route and never even bring me mine. So I went to the supervisor to ask if I could get paid for getting it and he said no that’s her job and said how childish she was acting and the pm said the same thing. He told me that he would talk to her, made her even more mad. Yesterday both bosses came to office only to award her with getting to come in 15 minutes early and tell me that I’m not allowed to get my dps that I have to wait until she can get it and never reprimanded the clerk for anything. So someone advised me to look on 4241a to see if my office is a withdrawal office and guess what, it is! Yay, finally a win for me but neither of my bosses knew to even look there, obviously had no clue. This would have solved a lot of the problem if they had just told me this from the beginning. Should I file a grievance against the them? Not sure what to do, please help

Well.....I'm sorry you are going through this firstly, and secondly, YES, getting, and using your backbone is highly recommended. I also reccomend picking your battles carefully....if clerk is treating you in any manner differently from other carriers, then you must make a choice. Can a grievance better your position, or situation???? If not, decide what is your best approach to resolving it. If so....discuss it with your union rep, if your rep is worthless, go over their head to higher ups. I have multiple times, and had much success in it. I must mention, do not take pics inside your po office, or videos unless it's very very serious, and if you do....ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET CAUGHT!!! They can and will fire you over it.....
However taking copious notes is Great!! Its the best way to remember, and gather information for your battle....dont give up.

In regard to --- not giving the routes packages that she knew had a P.O. Box
2nd line should determine what to do with parcels, If street address goes to route and if P.O. box stays with clerks. Also if customer does not have street delivery and uses street address should be sent back NMR
Same for letters
