Regular daily mail can count as a parcel under current guidelines.

What merits regular daily mail for a customer who gets the odd item you have to hoof to the door? If you are willing to cut your own pay with RRECS on the horizon for your customers by forcing them to put up a box large enough for the random item which you are to [sic] lazy to exit your POV or LLV more power to you.

for a dozen times, I drove up to their driveway to deliver china parcels (that is an inch thick) and phonebooks, and ULines, until there were a couple of times the dogs were loose and ran to my van and almost got hit ! I know my job (and responsibility) is to deliver; I'm pretty sure the customers have responsibilities, too !

How do they keep it from being blown away or stolen??

as shafted said, they put a brick or something on it, rural area, as you said if they are going to steal not much you can do about, their stealing off the porches with cameras! lol

I'm not getting a parcel credit at mail count to tote this regular mail half a mile to drop at the door. Because they have't got the mail out
I purchased and installed the new box. I put it on a swing arm, attached to a 6×6 post. 45" up. I also have my neighbors box on there, big box. It holds quite a bit.

I only have 1 resident on my route with that box. They pick up once a month, and there's plenty of room. Easy to open/close.

I had a mellinial tell me..."I bought the small box because it's YOUR JOB TO DELIVER PACKAGES TO MY FRONT DOOR!" He has a .4 miles driveway, no turnaround, homeschooled kids running around, toys everywhere, cars parked so i sometimes have to back all the way out.

Whats the difference if box is not full but large catalogs, samples will not fit in slot? Leave notice right?

If a box is a slot box and the package would go in a normal box but not that box just leave a 3849 or tell them to put another box out there or one of my houses has a tote at the end of the driveway for their packages! Where there's a will there's a way!
