They are looking for time, not location. The answer is yes but that isn't their objective.

O that last like was on accident, I don't know how to delete it. I don't see how rrecs would have anything to do running can't it measure that, too. Also it wouldn't stop working off the clock either, need a time clock to do that, and they wouldn't want that. I want a new drug.
with rrecs, the scanner is your time clock. You scan in to start your day and scan out at night. The running refers to failing to follow LOT and not stopping for assigned traffic controls. If you are not stopping, the GPS will reflect that on the mapping. The skipped boxes down lonely roads are also going to hurt.

Exactly why driving under 5 mph can’t be detected as backing up..... just saying
I've never been called on my scanner " walking, side to side" inside the vehicle when not going forwards.

back last summer the stup got a bee in his jockeys was pissed that the sup was scanning a neighbor hood in the middle of a busy state route showed me his picture proof she was at the cbu on the road adjacent to the state route about 6 feet away and 10 feet below where the scammer pinged and our hopes a dreams are based on this.

Must be a super diehard battery in the new scammers. I've never seen where it was our time clock and gonna replace our trip reports. People would still come in early, stay late, throw adds on sunday, whatever. Not gonna stop it. PO don't want it stopped anyway.
I don't have any lonely roads, couple businesses, so is it worth it to go in and get paid for it, or just skip it and get done earlier. Maybe your minutes away from your next route classification
Ah why do i care i dont think rrecs is gonna happen away.
What about multiple boxholders will they have to go all in same day and maybe skip boxes next day, so no pay.
Conclusion
rrecs- not gonna happen
working off clock- not gonna stop it
formula office- please no its bad

A couple of additional instances I have seen that runners also do that will effect their evaluation are excessive or abuse of UBBMs to create more skips and less stops for delivery of (or current resident) stuff. Another one is scanning while you are rolling when not even close to the delivery point, these are both going to bite these carriers in the arse if RRECS kicks in.

People usually only want to follow the simple contract when its to their benefit.
Everyone is able to do as they please right now. The usps prefers you do as little as possible with data collection taking place and contract negotiations in play. I prefer to watch my paycheck...my current and future pay.
As regarding throwing mail away( felony offense you signed acknowledging in your hiring paperwork), I can't tell you how many people I have represented for throwing away mail. Might be less than a thousand but, not by much. Doesn't end well for the carrier usually unless lack of training or language barrier can be proven.
Personally, I'm good with them being terminated. They are not trustworthy and should not be in charge of anyone's mail. When working for the Union one must represent these people to the best of your ability. Those days really suck. But you always mount your best defense regardless of worthiness or personal wants.
I believe we already suffered from this multi tasking of driving and scanning during filming of test routes. Why do you think the scan dropped to 5 seconds? I hear its one of the contentious issues being fought before implementation of rrecs.
Anyone have to verify their edit books at the end of every month? That's another month they can say the carrier agreed to route parameters. They don't do everything for busy work.

No you didn't. Voglio-il mio did. Still scary to think anyone would do this with all the digital surveillance on mail these days. Wasn't pointing anyone out. I was simply referring to the ethics oath all employees sign. It's the gotcha paperwork that gets many who never read it.

Yes, I just don't see how recs will stop off the clock stuff. Hopefully it does. I try to be ready for whatever, because that's what I am gonna get.

I think the major point is if you wait until RRECS is implemented to follow the proper procedures you are already a year behind! Therefore you will feel the effects of (less pay) for all the shortcuts for the next year until you can correct and take advantage of the proper mail handling and delivery procedures.
