How can they do that when you need to be regular for at least 10 yrs, and actually elect high option? There is no option above 50h43m. The highest a 46j can go. They just classify everything without a choice as high.
Thats what I thought but here we are. I questioned the mess out of yesterday too. Management says it is what it is he doesnt understand it but thats whats happeningInformation provided is not right . No evaluation lands you in 48k with high option . High option evaluation makes you a J or H route . And that is also capped at 46
Don't believe everything you hear. Our pay and evaluations are all computerized. There is no way this is true..Idk
Even supervisor says he doesnt understand it which bothers me. He has been there well over 10 years. He said he didn't know he could do it either but he said it was possible and now he is getting it. Frustrating

No . What I am saying is his evaluation might come out as 48k . That’s a different thing . High option has nothing to do with it . You need to see his/her 4241 to find out the standard hrs ( not the evaluation hrs ) to make any sense out of it . Someone is not telling the truth somewhereThats what I thought but here we are. The 4241A SHOULD be in the route book at the case. The 4240 will also have that standard hours. Just use that instead. I am sure getting our hand on the 4241 is harder than looking at the 4240.
I think this has more to do with the leave commitment than any "option". When that high option box gets that check mark for whatever reason(s) , management insists on that leave commitment being signed even when the carrier has no option either by not having enough career time in or by the route falling into the standard hours upon which there is no election. At the end of it all, what management has is the carrier's signature agreeing to use enough annual leave to not exceed 2080.
