July 4th holiday

If your K day falls on Saturday July 4th(post office is closed) this year do you get off Friday the 3rd since its observed on the 3rd?

friday becomes your holiday. your relief day never moves.

you can work it and get paid or earn an extra annual day.

Pending your office, they may try to make you work, playing the understaffed card, so take Thursday off so they cant mandate you for Friday and enjoy that 4 day weekend.

I have Friday/Saturday off that week.
So I get a T/F/S/Sun off. Gonna put in for that Wed off.
I'm sure I'll have 2 or 3 days of mail left over, but at least I'll get a break AND get paid for it.

I tried and got denied so I'm sure ill be working Friday also!!!!!
