Maybe old timers should admit that the conditions many of us faced or face are much different from what many RCAs nowadays face... you and I sitting at the top pay of Table 1, racking up a day of AL every pay period, and a day of SL every other pay period... with EMA I made well over $100k all of my final years... and in the end, it wasn't worth it to me to keep on keeping on... but it all comes down to what your values are and what is most important to you... if things were really great for ALL employees at USPS we wouldn't be seeing such shortages in RCAs in many places... to deny this, is to deny reality... also, imo, to disregard all of the evidence about toxic work environments at the USPS, is also denying reality... the employee surveys, the suicides, the murders, the harassment, the grievances, etc., etc... this is bigger than just a bunch of crybabies, or just ole DB's opinion... at least that's how I see it...
