Letter of Warning

File and smile, have your steward apply a monetary penalty like $250 to stop the madness. If it happens again, a preogressive monetary penalty will be applied doubling it to $500. You have to fight back or they will take you down. Stand and be heard.
Hit them back hard with contract violations and money......this is not looked at favorably with higher ups for mangelment.

I had the interview and I provided documentation from my doctors visit. He put me on medication with a warning( Do not operate a vehicle while taking this medicine my cause dizziness) After giving her the documents, she said that will be all I said so whats the verdict. Her reply was she will have an answer Tuesday.. this took place Monday September 16 before i out went out to do my route. Tuesday when I came back from route I had a note on case that she needed a copy of my documentation, which I provided. Nothing else said. Well Friday the 20th my k day.. Did my follow up appointment with my doctor.. She took me off and I tried to get out of it. I told my doctor that we are unable to get off because we have no subs and the Postmaster I will b on her shit list. She said I couldn't work because I was contagious and if she had a problem with it she can call her. Doctor gave me a note stating that I couldn't work. I called the supervisor to inform her.. she said hold on and put the Postmaster on the phone. I told her the situation and her reply. Well you need to bring that right now to me. I did just to keep the situation come. When I get there shes standing out on the work room floor mean mugging me. She waited for about 1 minute before she took the note, looked at it and just walked off. (Hmm). I returned to work on this Monday, that evening when I returned I was greeted with the LOW from the 16th. I feel like that was Retaliation!! Since when do we have to provide a doctors note for 1 day absence? Why was I ordered to bring that note Now. Never heard of anyone else doing this

You were ordered to report to work on your K day? You best get paid DACA5 and a future admin day of your choice.

Harassment retaliation? Yes

And sign up for EAP. This is obviously traumatic. 6 Monday sessions.
 
Considering your mngt geekazoid followed basically no known procedure, either according to the contract or postal manuals, such as the ELM.... no placement on restricted SL, no official discussions, etc., etc.... I'd say pick one or 2, or three areas that they are violating, and file a grievance, or 3.... :rolleyes:

Btw, tick-tock... the clock is running... don't let the 14 day clock run out before you file your grievance.... just sayin'.... ?

Seems like they're trying to backdate the LOW so they can say your grievance is not timely.... don't wait.... file away.... aka smile and file... (y)

Disparate Treatment
Harassment / Hostile Work Environment
etc., etc.... discuss all of these with the stewpot and/or ADR.... ?

Have you filed on the LOW yet?? Someone proposed a question for #4 earlier in this thread.

For the harassment, maybe... Am I being subjected to harassment and a hostile work environment in violation of the contract and USPS policies?

-- If the "union rep" is the office steward, document and report it to the Assistant District Representative.

-- If it is the ADR, do the same to the DR, and so on until you get to the Director of Steward Operations at NRLCA HQ.

IF on the RDWL, DACA 5 pays 150% with NO X-Day. 3 pays 50% with an X-day scheduled by mgmt within 12 weeks (or same PP if in Guarantee Period to end of Christmas OT Period. R gets you a mutual agreed X-Day.

If not on the list, 3 is the only option.

There is no Admin day for working your Relief Day.

I’ve seen it, too, but it’s not contractual unless it’s during the new Guarantee to end of Christmas OT & mgmt doesn’t/ can’t schedule that X-day right away.
