New benchmarking???

I had just finished scanning last of my packages on load truck and this scanner message popped up. Literally like 2 mins after I scanned last of my packages.

Is this not "benchmarking." Where is the union at on stuff like this?? Do something.

Here is EoS. I have to be on some naughty list today. 3 times during load and 3-4 times during EoS.

Hey I have solution to all of this. If you missed endload and depart2route it goes by GPS signal of you leaving the USPS office and if you get out of the USPS area and you didn't hit that stuff, it sets off an alarm. EoS !@##%ING SIMPLE. You dock scanner and it clocks out automatically. Holy . So dumb.

Yeah, I got that message 2 times this morning. Mondays we get 3 times the number of packages than other days.

I wonder if "clock" pauses until one hits yes still loading.

Nice! Beat me to it. Definitely giving away that they have been benchmarking this entire time. What is up with the gps type map that pops up super quick when waking the scanner up? Anyone else see that? I know they're running stuff behind the app we use to scan stuff but haven't noticed the gps looking map display until today.

At first I thought it popped up because the scanner was stationary as I walked around the office but it still pops up when youre moving with it.

Do we have any language preventing this Benchmarking? If someone can provide it that would be awesome, i am genuinely unaware of the rules when it comes to this. Would love to have any information on hand BEFORE management starts trying to enforce this. I got 2 pop-ups today for this, during load time and EOS time.

Did you send a picture to your representative? That's usually how the union finds out about stuff. From carriers on routes. The fulltime stewards don't ever encounter the scanner or it's messages. Even the part-time stewards can be off their routes for months or years from grievance needs.

That map is the dynamic delivery that sundays/holidays use. Saw it too and figured i was going crazy. Crazy they are using the gfx feature to map the route behind the scenes instead of using the data as text streams.

This ( scanner update) was scheduled to live along with route growth/loss update.

So, Thursday is my K day. Apparently, the PM told every one that EOS times are to be no longer than 15 minutes, and the markups are to be done before you leave for your route because rurals have to case all their mail When I got to work Friday, PM informs me of the EOS only, of which I replied " we'll see". He also said if our EOS times don't fall to the 15 minute mark, we would be audited.The other carriers told me about the other stuff. I looked at the Rrecs guide and the PO 603.... EOS takes what it takes. It's a timed function like load time. The throwback mail is EOS duties, and no where did I find that we are required to case the DPS. I've always taken my DOS to the street, and some days, there's a lot of throwbacks in there.I average about 30 minutes EOS, I don't pad the time. That's what it takes me. I'm not backing down, I do what I do " by the Rrecs book".
I found it funny this morning with scanner constantly beeping about being done loading, and later if I was still doing EOS activities

yup. had a standup this morning regarding to that bs.. aint rushing myself to finish loading and eos so the higher ups gets more money.
