That would be correct if there is no scannable item or package pickup paper (scan bar is on it).
Parcel pickups are typically for Prepaid parcels so the paper and/or package(s) have a scan & that gives Drive/Walk credit.
So you are saying by utilizing Rrecs "O" with or without a pick up request form then we get walking and driving at the address?
I disagree, but I might be thinking about this wrong.
I assume (because I can not verify) the carrier pick up is broken up into two sections that give credit
#28 credit is triggered by the scan of a manifest during the rrecs "O" #29 credit is triggered by the Rrecs "O"scan.
The Guide page 79 and 80
28. Carrier request and prepd parcel event
contains the following credits.
S026 handle & verify form. 6.84sec
So33 driving speed
s034 walking speed
s045 Pick up and prepd event. 71.22 sec
(actions 1 - 12)
29. Carrier Pick up items and prepd over 2 lbs
S046 (tasks 1 -5) 9.55 seconds per piece
actions (1-5)
S070 (to scan msnifest if present) 6.06sec
S070(1st piece if no manifest) 6.06 sec
S071(scan for additional pieces) 1.34 seconds per piece.
So the drive and walking only occurs during the scan of a manifest in 28 on pg 79. If I have a note in mailbox telling me to go to door, or ost master tells me to go to door and pick up, then I need to do door misc to get drive and walk distances credited.
