Of July? 2 days training on a new route with 3 days of mail and pkgs? After a Saturday holiday? With Amazon? You are a better carrier than I am! Good luck with that. Especially since you will be paid evaluated time. SmhI trained on it today. Will train again next Thursday. And they want me to work it the 6th and 7th.
Excellent! And you can get all the wonderful and informative emails that comes along with ACE ID and email........grrrrr....And if you do this often, request ACE access. Then you can fill out your own mileage and get direct deposit within a few days.

I think that it is important to note that the language in the referenced step 4 specifically says "required". Maybe I missed it but I didn't see that this person is being required to work at this other office. I know that many PM's will pay mileage as an incentive to get the help or because they don't know better, but if the relief carrier is working in another office for any reason other than being required, I don't believe they are entitled to mileage to and from said office.
If wrong, set me straight!!!
Wow, the 6th and the 7th....long day...I trained on it today. Will train again next Thursday. And they want me to work it the 6th and 7th.
No matter what, put the mileage on a green card. Never mind mileage sheets....takes forever to get paid, if you ever do.You are entitled to the mileage. If manglement doesn't want to pay then manglement can run the route as soon as administratively possible.
