When will rural carriers receive the back pay owed since the new contract has been approved?

The last time we were owned backpay it took two years and it was like six dollars

The new contract that was approved stated we will get paid for COLA and small increases all at once pending approval. Something I'n the range of 6%.
To pay us backpay, they first have to pay us our new current pay, which looking at my pay check, hasn't happened yet, even though the contract has been signed for over a month.
Then they will calculate backpay, which will take months.
A good union, nay, even a barely functioning one, would provide us with a timeline on these thousands of dollars and 6% pay raise. But ours hasn't.

Most likely. My local steward just texted me that she had a back pay check for steward training when she got home. Union pays themselves first. So not correct! It took about 5 months to get our Backpay & some got a decent amount paid. I expect well get it before Christmas if not by October.

Union Payout is from the Union’s account. They don’t have nearly the same amount of people to pay. They do not share money with the PO nor do they have Eagan handling the payroll finances.

I think the Association should have placed a date for the people who work to get paid or receive interest on monies owed before they paid themselves. You don’t see this as self serving their own interests first?

I know who my employer is and I know whom is required to represent my interests.
It would have been a minimal task to attach a date for the PEOPLE WHO WORK THE JOB to have a set date for payment or receive interest ontheir money if not paid in full by that date
It appears the people who sit around and plan parties want their money ASAP and so they got it.
I wonder if the Association knows who pays their salaries?
