When will we see our results?

Exactly !!! Thank you !!! I thought I was the only one that understood this. WHEN I see my TOTAL ACTUAL evaluation , accurate or not, THEN I will make the decision regarding leave commitment. Then, there is the wording on that Form which , in part, states ; " in the event I am ELIGIBLE to elect a higher route classification........." So, is it that you DID elect a higher route classification or is it that you have the option to elect a higher route classification even when you elected the lower classification ?
Not only that which is the worse but if you do j then that's helps them not to hire since we are covering relief days. Again I will not put my signature on any part of that paper.

I have asked in writing to have my route looked at and adjusted accordingly. My route is on paper a 44k (8.8 hours daily) but it hasn’t been adjusted in over 4 years according to the other carriers there

And don't get me started on Amazon. I have to do a morning parcel run just so I have room for the rest of the parcels and mail and I don't make evaluation most days. I average with parcels and SPRs between 300-400 a day easy. I'm evaluated at 8.8 hours daily. I make it back most of the time before a lot of the other carriers and one of the first ones to leave on my route so I'm not certain, this RRECs is going to help
If you dont mind me asking-how long is your route (miles)? POV or Metrix Van?

For all the super heavy parcel routes, I believe it should be a point of concern that USPS has seen fit to include NO info on parcels so far.... js.... they were listing DPS and bundled flats and all kinds of nonsense, but not a peep about parcels.... coincidence???? I doubt it..... 🤷‍♂️(n):poop::oops:

Great point !!! Even for "not so heavy parcel routes" . We keep seeing numbers , even if they ARE incorrect, on plant processed mail, presorts, raw letters, raw flats , etc. But now that you mention it, we have NEVER since way back when heard a peep regarding parcels.

They're probably so inaccurate, they're afraid peeps would scream bloody murder if they were ever exposed to the light of day..... 🤷‍♂️(n):poop:😲

Dropping 4-5 hours would likely result in many Table 1ers being able to maintain their current pay by electing a high option.... so, actually it might end up pi$$ing off the Table 2ers, who do not have that option, even more.... another USPS plan gone wrong, how could that ever happen????🤷‍♂️
What I don’t I understand is if the high option only means you make more money but work an extra day each pay period. why would any regular who waited many many years to work 5 days a week choose to work 6 again?

to keep our pay. if our routes go down, the only way to keep our current $ level is to "choose" high option.

it sucks. i don't want to work more to maintain my lifestyle.

clock me.

Mo money.... aka.... SHOW US THE MONEY!!!!! 🤷‍♂️(y)🤑

Keep in mind.... these extra hours are all at the OT rate.... extra 4 hours weekly of OT per annum = ~$10,0000 .... aka TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.....

And, in my case, I'm sitting on a whole pile of AL & SL.... so, I'd likely just take an extra day of leave each pay period and basically keep the same schedule.... change???? What changed????

So, you see, same schedule, and more money.... who wouldn't take that deal and keep building the ole high-3 for retirement.... So, there are many things to consider, and what you mentioned is but one, that can likely be mitigated....🤷‍♂️🧐

I am not sure about why the effective date of our new evaluations would be on March 25th which is the beginning of that new pay period because if the evaluations have changed, then does it take more time for HR to process or update (Personnel Action - PS50 form) our pay? Previously, under old mail count, it took almost 2 months to process change of evaluation and new salary. I wish PO can fix our electronic personnel folder online. It has been down for a long time.

I find it odd that during the mail count period, the DPS, flats, raw bundles was very slim. The day after it ended, we get hit with DPS trays triple what we normally get. I average 3-4 trays daily. During the count, only got 1-2 trays and after it ended, 10 trays!

I am a new sub (today was day 91"working days") I rarely miss any of my scans, but what is the ruralreach? Haven't heard of that one.
Also my regular just recently showed me to do most of the scans that no one told me about before, at least not that I can recall. Which they are telling me of course they wouldn't, then they would have to pay you.
In my 20 yrs of work in a very rural area, I’ve never had a rural reach/lead.
But… If you have someone on your route who does mailing or a lot of packages, whether via USPS or you notice they use fedex/ups you can submit a Lead on the scanner, I believe it prompts you for the needed information. Then someone from the post office is supposed to contact them.

I don’t understand high option, especially with the lack of RCAs.

In most of the offices I cover there aren’t RCAs to cover relief days. So if you choose high option yes, you are no longer in need of a relief day RCA, because YOU will be working Saturday.

But aren’t you already coving your Saturday? But getting paid time and a half with the current MOU?
My dream is having 2 days off a week (I current work 13 days before a day off)
If I had the choice to work 5 or 6 I’d choose 5 and then if I needed to cover my own relief day I’d get PAID OT to do it.

I’m an RCA now, so maybe I don’t really understand. But that would be my mindset.

Well, I’ve got to go 🥵 working another Sunday in the hub involuntarily

No insult intended... but the extra hours under high option, are OT hours.... plus, they count toward your annual salary and high-3 for retirement, whereas DACA 3 & 5 OT do not.... 🤷‍♂️🧐
