New article says:
Maston confirmed that about two-thirds of rural carriers saw pay cuts under RRECS. But he said that those losses are distributed over a bell curve — meaning that only a small percentage of rural carriers saw either a significant gain or loss in pay.
“Some may have stayed the same, some may have lost an hour. Some may have lost two hours, [but] it was not everybody lost 10 hours — and that’s kind of getting lost in the news, that everybody didn’t lose excessive amounts,” he said.
—- Is he completely unaware that the numbers were posted for all of us to see? Only 36% of routes stayed within a fluctuation of 1-3 hours. Only 6% of routes stayed unchanged, damn near 20% lost more than 8 hours! Another 27% lost 4-7 hours! A total of 66% LOST money with RRECs, so where is the curve he’s talking about? It was a steep drop for nearly 50% of employees. 16 thousand new routes now have to work 6 days a week! No one was given sufficient training, non dues paying members were not given access to critical information regarding their pay, and RRECS was implemented knowing that it was not close to 100% accurate, not to mention the countless questions we still don’t have answers to! Useless union at this point, you can’t get an honest president or any higher official to actually do their job and give us accurate information and FIGHT for our rights! Unacceptable
